Our client, T2K Enterprises, is seeking an Office Administrator to join their team! The Office Administrator is responsible for the businesses' day-to-day financial activities including but not limited to office administration, payroll and benefits, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, tax filing and recording keeping. The Office Administer is accurate, meets deadlines, and ensures compliance with government filings. RESPONSIBILITIES . Bookkeeping and data entry of financial transactions in Sage accounting system for multiple corporations as defined. . Prepare Monthly Statements for final review by Senior Management. . Track/record project expenses in Excel Spreadsheets as directed by Project Manager. . Prepare Year end books in draft for accountants and discussion/review with Senior Management. . Administer HR, Payroll and Benefits for Staff. . Manage and maintain Fixed Asset Tracking Systems for all owned/leased assets including financing terms, depreciation schedules and maintenance logs. . Assist Management team with project work as required. . Maintain corporate filing systems, corporate binders, and record retention. . Assist in management of systems retention systems, including researching new products relating to digital back up. . Maintain and manage Office Policy and Procedures System. . Coordinate office maintenance items including but not limited to office cleaning, window cleaning, and other office related maintenance items. . Administer/liaison with office products suppliers such as copiers and other machinery items that may be under contract. . Order office supplies and track inventory. . Coordinate events and schedule meetings as required. . Greet, welcome and direct guests; distribute mail / disburse couriers and other duties as assigned. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS . Post-secondary education or certificate or diploma in a relevant field, with three to five years of experience in bookkeeping. . Experience with payroll and benefits administration with a high level of confidentiality. . Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy . Excellent organizational skills and meets strict deadlines . Good analytical, problem-solving and assessment skills. . Extensive experience with accounting software including the ability to set up, grow and maintain bookkeeping systems for new business entities. . Excellent working knowledge of intermediate to advanced Excel and Word . Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and be ready to jump in and assist on a variety of projects. . Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change within a fast-paced environment.
