Camp Arnes, a faith-based camp for children and youth, is seeking an Executive Director to lead their organization! Camp Arnes is an Inter-denominational Christian Camp that is committed to presenting opportunities for children and youth to experience an unforgettable adventure, while hearing the message of Jesus Christ. They provide an exceptional environment for recreation, a respect for the world around us, and character in leadership development. The Executive Director is responsible to carry out the vision, mission, and policies of the organization together with the Board, and will represent Camp Arnes in all public matters, as well as upholding and modeling Christian character of all staff. The Executive Director will also oversee fundraising, communication strategies, maintain relationships with churches, key supporters and donors. The Executive Director will direct financial needs, programs, and administrative management, in addition to: Administration & Organizational Leadership This position is responsible for the overall leadership of staff, their development and implementation of Strategic Plans and policies. In addition, this individual works with the Senior Leaders to prepare and manage the annual operations strategy. Along with attending Board meetings, the Executive Director will provide information and advice to assist in decision making and will work with the Board to organize and prepare for the AGM. Human Resources The Executive Director also oversees the human resources function to ensure optimum staffing and placement; recommends policy changes to benefits, compensation employment, training, and other areas as appropriate. Passion for working with young people and modelling their faith journey . A heart for ministry and serving . Agreement and support of Camp Arnes' Mission Statement, Code of Conduct, and Statement of Faith . 10 years' experience in a senior leadership or administrative role . Postsecondary education from a recognized faith-based organization and/or Administration degree is preferred . Superb interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage inter-staff relations and to interact with guests, campers, and staff in a consistently pleasant manner . Previous experience in camp management, small business management, human resources, and financial management is preferred . Excellent organizational and leadership abilities . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to speak in public .
