Our client, a national manufacturing company, is seeking their first ever Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization. In this newly created role, the Chief Executive Officer will take the leading role in driving new business and growth. While the ideal individual must be professional and business-savvy, they should also have a down-to-earth, roll-up-your-sleeves, approachable attitude. The ideal candidate will lead with high-integrity while also being flexible and adaptable and own this new role and make it their own. The new CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and the close-knit team of this organization and will strive to increase business by developing and maintaining dealer and other key network relationships. In addition, the CEO will have the opportunity to travel to network and develop new relationships with dealers and buyers at trade shows. The new CEO will be responsible for the adherence to and updating the team of any industry regulations, as well as providing leadership and support to the executive team and the Board of Directors. Skills & Qualifications . Proven performance in a similar executive management/operational leadership role with over 10 years' experience . A certification of MBA, P.Eng, CGA, or equivalent combination of education and experience . Proven experience in financial management and business administration; developing and implementing annual budgets; creating targeted sales and operational plans with an Executive Team. . Proven strengths in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships both internally and externally with varied stakeholders to meet and surpass objectives. . While remaining ethical and sensitive to the needs of its stakeholders, excels in developing opportunities, taking the initiative and being responsive, adaptable and creative in finding new approaches to meeting performance objectives. . Able to motivate and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment, while answering to a Board . Strong customer service focus with the ability to build long-term customer loyalty . Strategic and an analytical thinker to drive new revenue and growing opportunities .
