Seerx Technologies Inc., a Managed IT Services company that serves as the dedicated IT department for hundreds of clients, is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Help Desk Manager, the Help Desk Analyst will be responsible for completing service tickets assigned to them, as quickly and as efficiently as possible according to the client's Service Level Agreement. This position will work evenings and nights, and/or weekends, and may be set up to work from home if necessary. The Help Desk Analyst may also travel to client locations, as necessary. The successful individual is professional, courteous, and knowledgeable in IT functions and customer service. They will also be patient, empathetic, and provide exceptional and efficient service to clients. RESPONSIBILITIES . Will work as a part of an after-hours Help Desk team . Will work on any and all tickets that are assigned to them . Will setup, maintain and troubleshoot software, computers and computer peripherals to client locations, both remotely and onsite . Will set up, maintain and troubleshoot local and wide area networks at client locations . Will travel to client's locations when necessary to do onsite work, being mindful and respectful of their time and property . Will answer incoming phone calls from clients after hours and on weekends . Will ask questions when their own knowledge reaches its limits . Will help other staff solve problems of a technical nature QUALIFICATIONS . Post-secondary training in a related field with at least 1 year of experience in a supporting role . Fluent in written and spoken English . Proficiency in Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, and all Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft 365 . Well versed or comfortable with various support technologies (Connectwise, Nable and IT Glue) . Well versed or comfortable with various backup technologies (Arcserve, iDrive, Veeam) . Understanding of switches, routers, VOIP and TCP/IP networking . Valid Manitoba driver's license, and access to a vehicle .
