Working three days a week, this role will develop and implement human resource strategies and initiatives aligned with the corporate business plan, manage the employee recruitment and orientation process, ensure compliance with current legislation, organize learning and development programs, and manage a performance review system that drives high performance. The HR Manager will also analyze current HR programs within the company, prepare and maintain reports related to specific HR projects, and assist with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow. Proven knowledge of Union negotiations/Labour Relations . Understanding of employee relations, federal and provincial legislation . Experience with and understanding of various HR duties such as performance reviews, recruiting, policies, compensation . Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to multitask, and prioritize . Highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills . Strong analytical skills to identify and understand issues and opportunities .
