THE OPPORTUNITY Our client, Mondetta Clothing is seeking an experienced and results-oriented National Sales Manager to take their business to business sales to new heights while opening up new sales channels. As the National Sales Manager, you will lead a team of five highly skilled professionals. Your team will consist of a Sales Manager, two Sales Coordinators, an Account Manager, and Sales Executive based in New York. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales, you will be a key player in our continued expansion by focusing on creating new business and key partnerships to grow the account base and sales within specific channels: ecommerce, national chains and specialty boutiques. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES . Lead, manage, and coach a team of skilled professionals at varying levels of their career . Grow the sales channels and open up new sales channels with the new brands that Mondetta is offering . Lead the introduction of new processes, systems and people in order to grow the business by developing the strategies and subsequent implementation plans . Solicit, research and qualify account opportunities . Develop strategy for securing new accounts . Research to identify new account growth opportunities . Develop productive business relationships with current and prospective customers that build individual customer trust and confidence in the brand . Develop relationships and work collaboratively with internal departments . Understand customer needs and concerns, using this insight to shape decisions, recommend specific solutions, and to help win business through the various channels . Manage and maintain customer segment accounts . Obtain, answer, and follow up with sales leads for your team . Benchmark and monitor competitor performance and activities . Develop strategies and tactics needed to grow share of wallet with customers and determine potential customers that may have more complex requirements . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective solutions to grow account base . Support new and repeat sales by providing technical and logistical information in a timely and professional manner, always exploring opportunities to increase revenue SKILLS & EXPERIENCE . Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in a similar role . Experience in retail and ecommerce . Apparel and/or wholesale experience is a required asset . Ability to lead and coach a team of Sales Professionals at various levels . Fluent in reporting messages and material accurately and with the required tone to various stakeholders - clients, shareholders, other members of the senior team . Excellent persuasive and consultative selling skills . Able to effectively suggestive sell . Must be proficient with Excel and in research . Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships - building trust and credibility quickly with prospective customers . Has an established network of clients and/or prospects . Proven ability to prioritize . Ability to deal and respond to high volume calls and emails . Highly goal and results oriented with a strategic approach . Able to build internal collaboration to satisfy customer needs and business growth . Effective communication skills, both oral and written . Excellent with customer relationship management and able to up-sell .
