Office Administrator Our client is currently looking for a motivated Office Administrator to join their team. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the Office Administrator is a key part of the office. The successful candidate will be organized and a gifted communicator. This progressive career opportunity is ideal for someone who has the unique ability to focus on details while keeping the big picture in mind. RESPONSIBILITIES . Providing effective management of incoming calls from the public, including effective screening of solicitation. Routes all incoming and outgoing mail, email, faxes, and courier activities to ensure timely receipt by appropriate addressee. Promptly greets all persons entering the Vector office in a friendly and courteous manner. . Managing the professional presentation of Vector's office space. Ensures good working condition of office equipment including phone system, photocopier, fax, and multimedia projectors. . Providing administrative assistance as required to the Executive Assistant, Chairman, President, Chief Executive Officer, Controller, Vice-President - Construction Technologies, all Winnipeg-based staff and Division Manager. . Manages inventory of stationary, office supplies, kitchen and washroom supplies and reorders as necessary. . Responsible for the building maintenance contracts and all data management with the CRM. . Supporting the Finance and Administrative Team in various activities such as filing and batching cheques, including all periodic and annual audits. . Performing own duties in accordance with Vector's Safety Policies. . Cooperating fully with other team members to maximize and support authorized training and development within the division. . Developing and pursuing a formal plan for personal and professional growth/learning. REQUIREMENTS . 3+ years' experience in an office environment . Exceptional interpersonal skills . Demonstrated excellence in customer service . Excellent attention to detail . Methodical and thorough approach to work . Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills . Demonstrates initiative and ability to be proactive . A great team player . Strong analytical skills . Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Excel and Word . Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills . Strong leadership skills and the ability to take on various projects/tasks outside the scope of duties .
