The Role As a leader within the company, the Production Manager will utilize GMP skills and experience to cost-effectively deliver maximized ag-biotech manufacturing throughput in compliance with regulations. Headquartered in Winnipeg, MB, Bonify is a 100% Canadian-owned entity focused on being a leading global provider of quality medical cannabis. Responsibilities . Responsible for all aspects of production including, but not limited to: o Developing production schedules to maximize productivity and minimize losses; o Management of supply chain and inventory levels, ensuring the proper rotation of inventory; o Product quality management through adherence to policies, guidelines, and implemented quality standards; o Management of sanitation, hygiene, and pest control programs; o Purchasing of supplies necessary for optimized production cycles; o Maintaining all production records and associated reporting; and o Enforcing adherence to Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR), Standard Operating Procedures, Good Production Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices and other relevant regulations and documents. . Supervise maintenance of all production equipment and associated infrastructure . Preparation of staff work schedules . Promote continuous improvement through research into new technologies / best practices and subsequent implementation . Assist in the development of production budgets and, in conjunction with senior leadership, establish short and long-term budgetary priorities . Oversee, establish performance and productivity standards, and participate in the hiring of associated production staff. . Create and foster a culture of safety, performance and quality assurance in production. Promote safety and wellness in the operation through compliance with corporate policies and Provincial and Federal Health and Safety regulations. . Represent the company where and when required to do so in sales transactions and other venues. REQUIREMENTS . 5+ years' experience managing production in a highly regulated and/or commercial scale manufacturing environment. . Bachelor's degree in Biology, Plant Sciences or equivalent . Demonstrated financial and budgetary acumen . Exceptional problem solving and analytical capabilities . Excellent attention to detail . Sound leadership, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills . An entrepreneurial mindset . The ability to obtain A/RPIC status per ACMPR regulations DESIRABLES . Pharmaceutical development and commercialization experience . Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience . LEAN certification . International business experience .
