Executive Director THE OPPORTUNITY The Mondetta Charity Foundation is currently seeking an Executive Director to provide leadership under the broad, strategic direction of the Board of Directors. The Executive Director participates and presents at all Board meetings (except in-camera sessions), providing input to the strategic directions, vision, mission and goals of the organization. The Executive Director then ensures that the goals are implemented and that work is done within the Board approved strategic plan and annual budget. The Executive Director provides strategic advice to the organization, ensures accountability from beneficiaries of Mondetta Charity Foundation funding, provides supervision to any volunteers or contracts, provides oversight to fundraising initiatives, serves as spokesperson (as do Board Chairs and past President in collaboration and consultation with the Executive Director), oversees and coordinates promotional material including social media and print material. This position will require a passion for providing children with the right to learn, feeding an empty stomach, and that everyone deserves equal access and opportunity. The individual will be a dynamic leader, entrepreneurial, have financial acumen, and will assist in developing strategic plans and the vision for Mondetta Charity Foundation. The Executive Director will work to focus the organization's energy and resources in order to have the most impact and efficiency. Role Responsibilities . Strategic Leadership . Related University degree in management, business or fundraising and marketing . 5 years of progressive management experience in a not for profit organization or related experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity . Proven track record in cultivating and maintaining relationships with funders and donors . Experience in human resource, financial, and project management . Experience in a corporate environment . Direct experience in a charity foundation of a smaller size is an asset SKILLS & ABILITIES . Exceptional written and oral communication skills . Strong analytical and problem solving skills . Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills . Collaborative orientation . Team oriented and empowerment approach . Proficient in the use of Microsoft office & social media . Willing to travel to Africa once per year
