Sales Professional Our client, a growing reputable, Canadian transport company is looking for a Sales Professional to join their dynamic Winnipeg team. They are currently seeking a full-time results-oriented professional with proven sales and leadership background. It's fast-paced, competitive work and our client wants an individual to join their team who is confident and driven to win - people who are excited to help build their growth. Comprehensive training and support is provided to the right individual and you will be provided with a strong team to work with! The incumbent of this position will have a defined territory of current customers and potential new business accounts. This position reports to the Sales Manager and the individual will work alongside other Sales Executives. Our client offers a competitive compensation package with excellent benefits and Pension plan. Responsibilities: . Maintain Customer Relationships. Cultivates quality relationship with client through appropriate and timely contact, resolving issues and achievement of customer satisfaction . Travels throughout assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers to solicit business, explain the services of the company to the client . Establishes a prospecting plan; identifies potential clients, industry trade associations, trade shows, networking events, and consults other sources of information . Establish goals, analyze growth and provide accurate, complete, and timely submission of required progress reports, forecast, quotations, budgets, and rates . Following up with all customers regarding rate requests, increases, claims, service failures, and concerns . Competent math skills; cubing, calculation of rates, etc. . Must be flexible as job requires being able to deal effectively with changing circumstances, customer demands, last minute requests, deadlines and daily stress QUALIFICATIONS . 5+ years' experience in B2B sales . Post-secondary education . Knowledge of industry considered an asset . Must be computer literate . Proven sales experience and proven results in selling and closing deals SKILLS AND ABILITIES . Strong negotiation skills . Proactive sales approach and knowledge of sales processes . Positive nature and high energy . Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills . Able to create and present professional correspondence including proposals and presentations . Organized and able to manage time well . Must be able to resolve customer challenges and find solutions . Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment . Proficient with geography . Must work safely and in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and/or other pertinent regulations, including compliance with all Company policies and procedures .
