Office Administrator Our client, Vector Construction Ltd., is currently looking for an Office Administrator to join their team. Based in Stony Plain, AB and reporting to the Division Manager, AB Division, the Office Administrator will be a self-starter, proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications, and will be able to work individually and as an active team member. This role will also work very closely with the divisional management group. The Office Administrator will provide support in the areas of administration, operations, marketing, and purchasing for the division. RESPONSIBILITIES . Responsible for overall administrative duties including invoicing to projects and collecting invoices from suppliers, . Completing payroll submissions and records for field staff, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and to assist Division Manager and corporate office . Assist with collecting Human resources information for new hires and staff along with submitting to corporate office for processing, ensuring accuracy is achieved and timelines are met . Performing follow up collection calls to customers if necessary . Provides support to all divisional management on an as needed basis . Coordinates and prepares related materials for meetings within the division . Welcomes visitors within the division by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answers or refers inquiries; routes all incoming or outgoing mail, faxes, and courier activities . Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories . Performs duties in accordance with Vector Construction Group's safety policy; maintains safety files (including MSDS updates), monitors logbook, and issues visitor badges . Develops and pursues a plan for personal and professional growth/learning . Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as assigned by the Division Manager . Manages various events, activities, training and seminars for the division . Attends all division meetings and completes, circulates and files meeting minutes SKILLS & ABILITIES . At least 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar position . Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook . Good understanding of construction industry . Strong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting/ problem solving skills . Exceptional interpersonal skills . Excellent attention to detail . Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision . A great team player .
